Summary
Hawkins is trying to be normal again, with Dustin as valedictorian, grad parties, and college plans. At Stacey Albright’s graduation bash, Will Byers drifts away from the D&D basement and unexpectedly bonds with Chance, a guilt-ridden ex-jock who’s bi and trying to make up for his past with Jason and Andy. Their slow summer friendship turns into something real, just as Mike Wheeler finally realizes he’s bi and has always been in love with Will too. But Mike’s confession comes too late: Will refuses to be a backup plan and chooses Chance: the boy who shows up in the present while Mike learns to grieve, grow, and let him go.

Summary
After Hawkins's worst natural disaster in their history, "The Quake," many residents began to question the true morality of their town. Some believed it was cursed, that the town was haunted with vengeful spirits. Maybe the past people had done something to upset them. Others believed it was the work of the devil himself.
Chance Romanillo was one of those people. After the death of his three friends, Chrissy, Patrick, and Jason, he believed that all of the terror reigning over Hawkins was the cause of demons sent by Satan. Who were those demons?
The Hellfire Club, of course.
When Will Byers unwillingly moves back to Hawkins, not only does he once again have to face the humiliation of his nickname, "Zombie Boy," but he also has to deal with the now public shaming of his party's beloved club.
Now living with the Wheelers, a once quiet house becomes loud and cramped.
And in the midst of it, two opposing sides, like up and down, meet in the middle.AKA
