Summary
I'm basically writing the happily-ever-after that they were denied on screen. Post-Stranger Things, Mike Wheeler is a successful author, Will Byers paints for a living, and their house is slowly being taken over by letters from strangers who needed Mike’s stories and decided to tell him so.
They read letters out loud. They argue about chapters that aren’t working. They go on walks when Will’s hands are steady and stay in when they’re not. They build a life out of small, quiet things and hold onto it with both hands.
Basically just soft, domestic, slightly aching Byler about getting older and still being in love about it. Hope y'all enjoy it!!

He had fought through hell and high water in his twenty five years of life, he could handle a scuffle - the issue lied in the fact that this voice beyond the door belonged to Draco Malfoy, and Harry Potter was about to be caught red handed.

Harry Potter turns himself into a recluse after growing tired from the woes of fame, brewing enough polyjuice potion to go undetected for months. He figures that this truly is a plan that could have been considered perfect, if a certain blonde git didn’t seem to live in the same area and frequent the same spots in this sleepy town.. A blonde git who perpetually smells of dittany and seems to be harbouring a dark secret.

“Love Letters — magicked envelopes that you can use to send letters to someone who loves you. Despite the name, it's not just for romantic lovers. My parents gave these to me because it’s faster than sending them letters by bird. And better yet, it won’t require you to risk using your magic on sending spells. They’re already prepared. You just put your letter in it, address it, and seal it with a kiss.”
Then, Simon accidentally writes an incomplete address on a letter to Penny, which causes it to get sent to an unknown recipient instead.

Summary
If the ending of Stranger Things left you feeling like something was missing, this fic is for you.
Nothing rewrites canon, and nothing that happened on screen is erased. The only change is the relationship between Eleven and Mike. Everything else stays the same… except what inevitably breaks when something no longer works.
This story explores the gap the series didn’t show: the eighteen months between Season 4 and Season 5—the “mwtfdyd gate”—a suspended time where the world kept moving while emotions remained unresolved. Because surviving doesn’t mean being okay, and growing up also means accepting when love changes.
From that time jump to after the final episode, this fic adds what was missing: difficult conversations, uncomfortable choices, and truths that couldn’t be ignored. No retcon. No denial. Just consequences.
