A/N: I just finished reading TRC and TWC, and I ship these two darlings so hard it causes me emotional distress.

It’s the middle of the day. They don’t do this in the daylight.
It doesn’t seem to matter, though. And when Fai closes his eyes and starts to drift off, resting against his chest like he never wants to move again, Kurogane just presses in closer and holds on tight.
They’re not safe. As long as they’re trapped here, they’ll never be safe.
But, maybe, even for just for a few minutes, Kurogane can enjoy the illusion that they are.

Which was, perhaps, why he found the feeling so hard to identify in himself when it did strike. That, and the fact that his subconscious had chosen the most absurd person to become jealous of—and over the most pathetic thing—in the long and arduous history of jealousy.
Doumeki goes to the supermarket with his best friend and his deceased grandfather—it’s like the beginning of a bad joke.

Summary
A millennia after the time of the Pharaohs, the descendants of the once-royal bloodline are sworn to protect the Millennium Items. Atem’s family, although battered and bruised from their long-term exposure to the Items, continues to search for those that elude their grasp - the Puzzle and the Eye. While the Eye’s whereabouts are anyone’s guess, it seems to be a stroke of luck that the Puzzle has fallen into the hands of one of the students at Atem’s new school.
It isn’t, though. Not for Yugi, whom serves as the vessel for a spirit better described as a mangled mess of sacrificed souls that inhabit the Puzzle. And, as Japan begins to suffer from an onslaught of creatures from the darkest depths of the Shadow Realm, Atem realises that separating Yugi from the Puzzle is not just a difficult task - it might be impossible.
Or: Pharaoh Atem was gifted this life to make up for the sufferings he and many others faced in Ancient Egypt. The Puzzle’s new bearer is dealt a hand nowhere near as fortunate.

Summary
When pair skater Yuuri Katsuki’s career comes to a scandalous end, he does not expect the retired pair skating legend Viktor Nikiforov to suggest that they compete together. But taking on a new skating partner is full of trial and error, and the skating world doesn’t know how to react when the Katsuki-Nikiforov duo, against all odds, starts doing well. The last thing either of them should do, as they strive for their last chance at greatness, is to fall in love. Yuuri knows he is damaged goods, and Viktor knows his body is starting to fail him. They have competitions to survive and medals to win. No, falling in love is out of the question; they’re just very good friends. And even if Viktor felt something, he’d never act on it, and even if Yuuri happened to be hopelessly in love, he’d be mortified if Viktor ever found out.
“Well,” Viktor said, “let’s summarise: I’m pushing thirty, have a bad ankle, and haven’t skated competitively in three years. You’re barely out of a doping scandal, coachless, and on the JSF’s blacklist. Hell, Yuuri – we might as well go for it, then. What on earth do we have to lose?”
When Viktor put it like that, it seemed to make an awful lot of sense.

Summary
In the many years Yuuri had been working in the diner, he’d never felt this embarrassed, and boy, had Yuuri exposed himself to embarrassing situations a lot. Hell, the time he’d first been allowed to work in his parents’ diner after learning how to properly roller-skate ended in disaster when he managed to bump into his co-worker and best friend, Phichit, and spilt an entire milkshake down his surprised friend’s apron. He was even far more embarrassed now than the time he walked into the changing room after a long day’s work and saw Yuuko and Takeshi doing some things he’d rather forget.
(Alternatively, the one where Yuuri works in a diner, and Victor is the hot customer he keeps embarrassing himself in front of.)

The apartment complex is full of eccentrics, seeing as it's only a few miles from the artistic center of town. It isn't the first time that the concert pianist has run into someone who's late for work, fussing with their hair, or adjusting the lapels of a suit. Yuuri taps out a rhythm to fill the silence, something original.
When he sees the silver-haired man pull out a notebook, he recognizes the handwriting. Notes had been slipped under his door in that loopy script for weeks now.
This handsome man is his upstairs neighbor.
