Despite his pain, Jon managed to grin at his best friend. “Well, you saved the day. So it’s all good.”
Damian gave him a stern look. “You will bleed out if we do not get you patched up soon. Can you fly back to the Fortress of Solitude? You will need to recover there.”
Jon tried sitting up, but collapsed onto Damian.
“Right,” Damian said. “I shall call your father, then.” He rummaged in his utility belt for a second before pressing a button. He then pulled out some bandages to start wrapping Jon’s wounds.
“You know, you’re kind of beautiful,” Jon said as he watched Damian patch up his shoulder.

"This world is a parody of it's creation," murmuring, almost absentmindedly, Damian runs a blemished hand through Dick's growing hair. That needs to get cut, Jon should take him for a fly to the barber tomorrow.
"And I would die a thousand mocking deaths than ever expose you to it's destructive nature. So, never shy from me. Never lie to me, and never hide from me. Please."
One hand comes up to flutter across steel hard skin, skittering lines drawn in the same pattern to soothe Jon's ailment, and in that moment he thinks, quietly.
My world is fragile.
Or: Damian escapes from Ra's with Jason, finds solace in the Wayne house, and unknowingly becomes the center of a universe he didn't belong to.

Do you enjoy a single, multi chapter, really cute sex scene between two very sweet teen boys who don't even take their undies off until 30k words in as they mutually discover their sexuality because they've led extremely volatile yet oddly sheltered lives so far? Yeah? ME TOO!
Damian and Jon are both seventeen; idgaf about that aging up stuff, so they're the same age now. They're relatively true to character in general. Jon has been having wet dreams about Damian and it makes him feel awful because he loves Damian so much, he's Jon's best friend, and Jon hates the idea of taking advantage of all his knowledge of Damian and putting it towards something as intimate as imaginary sex; he does want to be close like that with Damian, but he spends so much time with him and he feels like he's being disrespectful and immoral. Damian, noticing the multiple occasions on which Jon comes to school and doesn't look at or talk to him, is slowly losing it. Did he hurt Jon?
Don't worry, Jon's sex-shame is not a recurring theme. He only feels awful for a little bit, and the Kents would never shame him.

The future dynamic duo is finally old enough to be part of a real superhero team like Young Justice, or the Titans, or maybe even the Justice League! Well... At least they thought they were since they planned to join one together, but the more they think about it, the less appealing it sounds. The two don’t want to be defined as the sons of someone super.
The only solution is to start their own superhero team! Fighting bad guys is no problem, but figuring out a public image, interpersonal issues, equipment maintenance, transportation, politics, financial control, and time management are an entirely different story. When did being a hero get so complicated?
