    "Pray for a quirk in your next life and take a swan dive off the roof!"

     

    That single goddamn sentence kept haunting her. Every time Bakugou touched her... forced himself onto her, she could hear that sentence bouncing around in her mind where it had seared itself without her permission.

    Izumi didn't want to do it. She didn't want to end her life. She didn't want to let him win.

    But after saving Kac- Bakugou, only to be trapped in a whole new cycle of suffering which broke her bit by bit, Izumi just... shattered.

    She decided that it would be for the best if she just took Bakugou's advice, both for her and the world at large.

     

    Turns out, inactive Quirk(?) factors choose the most (in)convenient times to activate.

    Armed with a newfound power, a brilliant and ruthless mind, a random voice in her head (He takes offense to that.) reacting to her life like it's the most interesting reality show ever (Technically it is.), and a truckload of trauma and spite, Midoriya Izumi is ready to-

    -Heal. And also gain some new friends through the intense trial of social interaction.

    Can't forget about that.

As it turns out, the Joker's plans were still fixated on the Dark Knight. Corrupting Superman was only the first step to finally pushing Batman over the edge. Superman was the gun once again, and the Regime? They're left to face the laughter.

    Izuku is down on his luck. After years of torment, the loss of his mother, and on the edge of being fired from his first job; he is just about ready to try ending it all again. He soon stumbles onto the aftermath of a villain fight. Two pro hero's unconscious, so he steps in and tries to save them.
    They later find out who helped them and want to make it up to him for how bad the world has been to him.
    "But, if he starts to feel better... He might want to leave."
    "Don't worry. We just have to make him feel safe with us. Not with others. *Kero*"
