Summary
Asami Sato has had many ups and downs throughout her life but all of it changed when she became twenty one. In the span of one night, her life is completely thrown off course after losing everyone around her. She now has to battle her true demons, new and old, as she falls for a new lover. Will Asami succumb to the darkness or will she find peace and swim in the light?

Summary
"Y-You need calming?" Waterboy asks, confused, his brows knitting together slightly.
Prism flinches internally, realizing she opened herself up to that question. She tosses it around in her brain, trying to determine each outcome. She could not tell Waterboy, tell him to shut the hell up and walk back inside- though that was cruel, even for her. Or, she could tell him, and be strangely emotionally vulnerable. That icks her out, but there is something about Waterboy that disarmed her an alarming amount. An embarrassing amount. It’s annoying that she even feels compelled to tell him, but that's just how he made people feel. How he makes her feel. Safe- emotionally, at least. She didn’t understand why.

It baffles her how he didn't notice. How did he not notice he couldn't hear out of one side of his head? What is wrong with him? “How the hell do you do that?”
He tilts his head, not unlike a dog. Like Beef. “Do what, exactly?”Robert is not stupid, he’s not oblivious. Lord knows he isn't, he uses the teams’ feelings for him against every single one of them. “How you can just- not notice stuff like, I don’t know, not being able to fucking hear.”
“I can hear fine. It’s just quieter with my left ear on its own, apparently.” And she wants to kill him, just a little.
Or, Robert gets to experience the consequences of not-his-actions, and suffers. Z-Team helps him out.
