Summary
Even knowing that the reality of a prince’s life could be the most sordid of all, Sanji never stopped believing in fairy tales.
He never stopped idealizing magical romances, stories where love could solve everything.
Sanji loved love, after all, it is always a hurricane.
However, no matter how much he tried, no matter how much he lied to himself, Sanji couldn’t believe he was worthy of a love like that.
A broken omega, manufactured in a laboratory like him, didn’t have the right to be loved.
So it was obvious that an imposing, loyal, and determined alpha like Zoro would never return his feelings, even if he seemed to enjoy having sex with Sanji, fucking him as if it were part of his training to become the Greatest Swordsman.
No, Zoro would never love Sanji back; even if he had returned to Sabaody with his green-haired baby in his arms.
At least, that was what Sanji thought for not believing himself worthy of Zoro.Or: the much-requested spin-off of "Nothing Between Us" from Sanji’s POV (yes, you NEED to read "NBU" first!)

This should not have happened.
Sanji knew it, and as he was making sure to keep a cold and strong exterior, yet he cannot help but be fearful.
The last two times he had end up with an alpha in rut, it has not ended well... there had been broken bones and cracks and blood — Not his tho — Not that it was ever a question. But it had been expected, because these Alpha were weak.
Zoro was not.
And as the tangy, musky smell started to rise in this cavern, so did Sanji’s realization of the situation that was daunting on him.
"Oy, Marimo... what the fuck?!"
"What?” Zoro’s voice was raspy, too raspy, and slow. The usual sharpness in Zoro's tone was not here. "What's your problem curly brow?” The syllables were hatched.
"What do you think you're doing?!" spat Sanji.
This was a stupid question, that was just answered by a raised eyebrow.
It was clear. Zoro was in rut.

Summary
He wasn’t born blind. Because of that, he could remember exactly what certain things looked like- could picture them clearly in his mind. The beautiful confusion of a crystal chandelier, the dark organic lines of polished wood, the center bright yellow of a flickering candle. Things his fingers would never be able to translate for him.
It meant that at 19, Sanji could navigate the world from a combination of memory and new sensory experiences. The scent and taste of paprika was that which he could still experience, while the red color remained lost to another time even if it was still, in fact, red. On good days if he opened his eyes and squinted for a long, long minute, he thought he could see the blur of that desert-sky spice through the white-blue tinge of glass, but maybe it was just his own imagination filling in blanks.
The lost color of paprika didn’t bother him. What bothered him was when people acted like this was some great loss on his part. He’d been pitied by enough customers when he was younger to fulfill a lifetime quota of pity, thank you very much. Granted, he’d walked into an awful lot of furniture in those days. At least now when he walked into furniture he did it in a really cool way.Bookmarked by Neekah

“So what are we supposed to do?” There were real tears in Vivi’s eyes now. “None of us know anywhere near enough about medicine. We have no idea how to help her.”
No one said anything for a moment. Sanji guessed it was because none of them had an answer.
“We find help.” Zoro said. “We find a doctor on the next island. Someone who can find out what’s wrong with Nami and cure her.” He rested his hand on the hilt of his swords. “For now, we’ll take turns watching Nami, making sure her condition doesn’t get worse if we can help it.”
They all weakly nodded in agreement. Even with Zoro’s confident words, Sanji couldn’t help but feel panic rise in his throat.
This was bad.
This was really, really bad.
OR: the four days between episodes 5 and 6 of opla because I needed to see the crew suffer a bit more lmao

Law stepped closer to him, his words catching in his throat, his mouth so incredibly dry. This was maddening. This was insanity. “You aren't Luffy, are you?”
Luffy frown deepened, his eyes growing glossy for a moment, and for that split second Law felt like he had been wrong until he spoke.
“You shouldn't have scanned my brain, Traffy,” Luffy’s voice sounded eerily distant. His big dark brown eyes flashed with color, a red ting behind his black pupils. A deer caught in headlights. A mimic caught red handed. “I thought I impersonated him perfectly…”
As the words left Luffy’s mouth, so did smoke- no, steam- as it was hot as it bellowed from his parted lips. His pupils flashed a brighter red, as one eye began to morph and shift before Law’s widened and horrified gaze.
His left eye, right above his familiar scar, began to bubble into a white flowy substance, elevating upwards, almost like clouds. Like pulled and stretched cotton.
This wasn't Luffy. Luffy was gone. Law’s mind felt like it was breaking.
A world without Luffy. That isn't possible.
