Summary
Panicking, Reid went on. “I was just speculating, a hypothesis, unconfirmed, like you all. Wasn’t that the point of the game? I’m pretty sure that was the point of the game.” He adamantly ignored the flush rising on his cheeks.
Emily’s eyes narrowed. “You said ‘he’s actually more talkative than you’d expect,’” she repeated slowly. “There was no speculation anywhere in that statement. That was a statement of fact.”
“Oh my god.”

Love sticks; sweat drips
Break the lock if it don't fit
A kick in the teeth is good for some
A kiss with a fist is better than none
Ed knows a fuckery when he hears about one. No death that ridiculous could have been a coincidence.
He leaves Stede a trail of breadcrumbs to get back to The Revenge. When Stede arrives back on board, Ed is surprised to find Stede has a bone to pick with him--and that Ed's got bones of his own to pick with Stede.
(This is not a fisting fic. No one get your hopes up. Title from here.)

Summary
Stede stands on the warm sand at the beach, stripped of his luxurious coat and impractical shoes, his hair pushed off his face from where he'd slicked it back while using seawater to clean away the pigs blood. He breathes deeply and takes a moment to grieve the life he's about to leave behind for good.
Just a moment, and a moment only.
He closes his eyes against the warmth of the setting sun, and inhales the salty spray of water as a wave crashes on the shore; the ocean advancing and receding, beckoning him forward.
Calling him home.

Summary
Peg leaves BJ. Naturally, Hawkeye drops everything to fly 3000 miles and take up residence in his beach house.
“You okay?” he asks gently.
BJ nods. He’s more okay than he’s been in a long time. “I used to worry that if I were to see you again, it’d be like meeting a stranger.”
“Come on,” Hawkeye says, smiling. “We were never strangers.”

Summary
As they stand there for a long moment, holding on as if for dear life, BJ realises it’s exactly the same hug Hawk used to say goodbye – one hand on his back, the other cradling his head – and it’s like a black hole has reopened in his chest. He’s grown numb to the old ache, that longing for the feel of Hawk’s hand upon him, the faint smell of pine and wood smoke that came off him when he was pulling off his shirt and pulling on scrubs, and the sound of that full-body laugh, but it’s washing over him like a tsunami now, knocking the breath out of him and making him forget for a moment all the dying boys in his care.

Summary
“You said you weren’t here to save your marriage, so what are you here for?” Hawkeye asks.
“Alright, Hawk, you got me. I’m here to seduce you,” BJ says, very earnestly. Hawkeye blinks at him. BJ blinks back.
“Well, BJ, I have to say, you’ve been doing admirably well,” Hawkeye says with as much aplomb as he can muster. “However, I also have to say that I think you’re having a nervous breakdown, and that’s kind of a turn-off for me.”

In which BJ gets a divorce, and in an act of true and noble self-sacrifice, Hawkeye invites him to Maine to help save his dying marriage.
