The Avengers are left shaken in the aftermath of the Sokovia Accords. With half the team under house arrest at the Compound, Tony finds himself seeking refuge in Avengers Tower and starts forming a tentative friendship with the neighborhood vigilante Spider-Man. A friendship which is quickly threatened by Secretary Ross doubting Spider-Man’s intentions and integrity.

Tony Stark had always been a man of science and he always would be. It was his personal and fundamental belief that everything had an explanation. His eventual encounters with Norse gods, alien life, and sorcerers did kind of quake this a little bit, but still.

Summary
Peter Parker is struggling to accept the death of his hero. The world feels off-kilter, too empty, completely and entirely wrong. Oh, everything looks fine, sure, and no one is dying right now, which is a bonus, but he's got the awful feeling that trouble is on the way. (This sucks, especially because he's currently barely passing his history class.)
A galaxy or so away, Thor meets a being older than his father, which he hadn't realized was possible, and realizes that by solving the problem of Thanos, the Avengers may have, in fact, set a chain of events into motion that could erase the Universe altogether.
Stephen Strange is not sure it is wise to give the ability to time travel back to humanity, but he supposes they can keep it long enough to fix a mistake of cosmic proportions.
Loki, meanwhile, has never liked to follow the rules of the Universe. This, he learns, is fine; sometimes, to save reality as we know it, rules have to be broken.
A tale in which Peter was really hoping he would be allowed to finish his school year without another incident, but he supposes that keeping the Universe from literally unraveling is more important than his physics homework.

“If you were here, now you’d probably say ‘previously on Peter screws the pooch’ again and you’d be right. I screwed up, big time. I never learn do I? You trusted me with your tech and I handed them over to a criminal who tried to destroy the whole of Europe. How could I be so stupid? I should’ve trusted myself more, I should’ve known that you left E.D.I.T.H to me for me, not for random strangers from so-called ‘multi-verses’. Now, everyone knows who I am, they think I’m a murderer who tried to destroy London and I’m probably a fugitive wanted by at least three different countries. I’m alone, scared and have nowhere to go. And there’s no one to blame for that but myself.”
The video changed everything. Now, Peter left is exposed and vulnerable as a wanted fugitive. With nowhere left to go, Peter ends up in the place he'd never think he'd be in again with the person he'd never thought he would see again.

Still, he smiled for Morgan who was none the wiser; not old enough to understand or grasp the concept of someone dying. She knew Tony wasn’t there, but did she know he was never coming back?

Peter's 2016 self is stuck in his present. And he has to somehow convince the world's mightiest Avengers to work together and defeat Thanos.
