Matthew's mouth hangs open as some flicker of recognition passes between them. Something hot and twisted and shameful and alive that Matthew is oh so familiar with.

Summary
The NHL has had supernatural beings in its ranks since its inception. Not that it advertised this, and players in the 80s and 90s were forced to hide their true nature or risk being ostracised. However, times change, and most of the wolves, vamps, and assorted creatures are widely accepted by the fans, what with their growing numbers among the general populace. No one questioned their right to play, supernatural abilities aside. It’s not like fangs or antlers gave you an advantage at stick handling. Mostly, they just made wearing mouthguards and helmets uncomfortable.

Summary
Peter’s gotten used to Gotham by now. The thousand little sounds that build up to the cacophony of a city in controlled chaos. But it isn’t home, and it never will be, and the more time passes, the more that thought makes him twitch. He’s frustrated by it, annoyed that he feels like he’s forcing his way through a world that doesn’t belong to him. Worse, the Soul Stone is starting to become more and more of an issue. As if it senses something coming.
Tony's last words had been 'the threat always comes back.' Thanos won't be thwarted forever, only delayed. Eventually, he's going to hunt down the stray Soul Stone that Peter holds.
The Bats have a few opinions on that. The Avengers that have fallen into this other world have a few of their own. And there's the problem of Dr. Strange's letter...

Summary
On the ice, announcers say he’s the most exciting guy out there, but off it all he does is sit around doing nothing of interest. Sometimes, at sponsor events, the guys will time how long it takes for some rich guy to realize that the only thing Connor has to say are media sound bites about how much he loves playing for the Oilers and wander away.
Connor gets it, has made his peace with the fact that most people find him painfully boring, but he’s managed to keep Leon around, so maybe it’s not that bad.
