Bags were packed, the cork board with its papers and photographs and honest to God red string was wrapped in the blood-stained sheet, and rooms were vacated for bewildered cleaning staff to vacuum up rock salt and question why only one bed was used.

Alpha Sam is enraged when John forces him to leave the omega he is dating in order to travel to a new state for a hunt. He knows it’s only a matter of time before Sam’s instincts override his deteriorating loyalty to his family. In order to keep their family together, he comes up with a solution: give him the omega that he really wants. It’s a shame that Dean’s opinion isn’t considered in this plan.

There was no doubt in his mind that Sam loved him too, and unlike Dean, he had no reservations about the depth and nature of his love. Sam's love for Dean was a terrifying thing, ravenous and obsessive, nothing tender, shy, or shameful about it. Dean loved Sam and it was a heavy thing. Sam loved Dean and the weight of it dragged them both down, but Sam had only ever known the dark abyss that they sank to.
