Summary
Tim hiked a thumb over his shoulder, glancing warily behind him before lowering his voice. “Is Red Hood sitting at our dining table?”
Duke nodded, firmer this time. “Uh, yeah. Think so.”
“Right,” Tim stared at him for a long moment, eyes narrowed but also slightly glazed over, and then continued his well-worn path to the coffee machine. “Quick follow up question, then. Um, why is Red Hood sitting at our dining table?”
Duke blinked. “Oh. Does that... Is that not normal?”

Summary
Bad Things Happen Bingo | Punctured Lung |
--
Jason jerks back as a metal pipe spears through the bottom of the vent a foot in front of his face, the end of it sharpened into a savage, jagged point. He stares at it for a long moment, dumbfounded, before it disappears back through the hole it made with a horrible shriek of metal on metal. The hole is about three inches wide, the edges bent up into sharp, uneven scraps.
Jason lost his helmet back when their earlier fight had gotten out of hand, and he’s suddenly vividly aware of how vulnerable his face is, how vulnerable his eyes are, and he can barely lift his head more than a couple of inches in this position – definitely not enough to be out of range. There’s a vague murmur coming from the goons down below, but Jason can’t make out the words through the buzz of panic in his ears. He’s a sitting duck if they realize someone’s up here.
He glances at Tim, who’s frozen, staring at Jason with mirrored shock.
Oh, fuck.

Summary
“Hood?”
There’s a dead body on the floor. The boy’s throat is bared open, too many slashes to justify it as impersonal. He has Tim's face, mouth parted in a silently deafening scream, eyes blue and scared and unseeing.
Jason squeezes his eyes shut, lets out a breath, and looks away. It’s not real, he repeats to himself. It’s Fear Toxin. It's Crane. It’s something that could’ve happened but didn’t. It's not real, it’s not real, it’s not real.
--
Jason gets hit with fear toxin. His older brother is there, for better or for worse.

Summary
Damian remembered being struck by the dart. Poison, he had thought then. Apparently not.
He remembered Jason, still standing protectively over him as he lay on the asphalt. A shout of rage—and pain?—as his consciousness faded.
“No,” he said at last. “I recognized the insignia. It belongs to a splinter group that separated itself from the League some time ago.”
