“We also ship worldwide,” Minho adds.

"You will heal... and I will kill. And in time the future will change." Is one of my favourite quotes from this fic. Something about is just impactful.
I'm always a sucker for a competent character, and Desmond does a great job with barely half a plan. He was given some OP supplies for his journey, but it allows a believable way for his actions to pan out. Altair's character growth is relatively quick, and the addition of Kadar and Malik's POVs make the transition fairly seamless. The world building is just the right level of descriptive to be immersive while leaving room for the mind to create its own images.

A really great soulmates fic! I appreciated that the core problem the couple faced wasn't really a "classic" miscommunication trope, but more of a character just being emotionally stressed, having very real concerns about their mental health if they pursued a relationship, and digging themselves into a depressive spiral. I think that the modernization of the characters and plot was really well done, working as a reflection of the canon universe. And the bunnies were a good touch.

This fic so.ehow blends gothic romanticism and country hermit life together. The settings are gorgeously described and there's the perfect amount of world building. I selfishly wish there was more to read, but that would involve diving into more details of the how magic works and politics, so in the end I think the author made the right choice to end where they did. I have many feelings about this story. Maybe it's just the repressed trauma of losing a best friend to distance and time; the years of masking to fit what movies showed "love" to be; the many flavors of silence experienced while burning out, burning down, and moving back to your parents house. This story makes my chest ache and my hands itch to create something- poetry, music, anything to set feelings into the world in a way other than screaming or silent tears.

Everyone in this story is both a badass and a dumbass (except Mito, she is perfect). The fic ends on a positive, open, ending (and a sex scene, which could be skipped if that's not your jam.) The plans hinted at for the rest of this universe's timeline are pretty ingenious, and Tobirama's character is shown to make allies through being honourable and sensible rather than purely charismatic. The POVs for each of the scenes are well chosen and help to keep the story emotionally impactful as well as show the emotional journey the characters go on.

Well, there's one way to deal with an arranged marriage where neither partner is happy. I kind of wish there was more insight into Draco's Slytherin friends' thoughts, but also happy with how it was presented. The romantic entanglement is a little rushed, and yet makes sense because of who they are. I think everyone was well characterized and the different issues popping up, leading to the climax, made for a really fun read.

Oh no, a middle aged man has to realize that the American sex Ed courses and conservative views may have been missing pertinent info on gender and sexuality. There's no way that learning about different forms of self expression would change anything, right?
On a serious note, I do think that platonic relationships are dope, but not for everyone, and seeing people safely explore their boundaries, and communicate with their significant others makes me happy.
And the whump in this story is just the right level of heart breaking with sappy recovery.
