“Oh, I don’t doubt that. It has been quite some time since we’ve fought though, hasn’t it?” Stede looked a bit excited in the way that Ed knew meant he’d become interested in this idea. “Not since you were still teaching me, I imagine. Why, you must’ve stopped just as I had a chance, don’t you think? That isn’t fair at all.”
“Stede Bonnet, are you trying to challenge me to a duel?” Ed was incredulous, even through his obvious excitement.
“I wouldn’t call it that, but I suppose that I am.” They looked at each other, both smiling. “Do you accept my challenge, Edward Teach?”

Stede opened the door with enough gusto that it struck the wall with an urgent thud. Ed - who was busy pilfering through the drawers and cabinets of a large cedar desk - glanced up in mild alarm, like he was expecting bad news. Stede sucked in a deep breath through his nose.
“Ed,” he began with all the authority and courage he could muster, “I’d like to do sex, ah, things, with - with you.” Perhaps that could have been a fair bit more eloquent, but alas.Bookmarked by Pal456

Summary
Stede finds the house. When he comes back to their room at the inn, he won’t rest—won’t let Ed rest—until Ed’s seen it. His eyes are bright in that way that makes Ed’s guts feel scooped out with a spoon. So Ed hurries into his boots and goes with him.
The once-white paint is stripped by weather and wear, a portion of the roof is caved in, and the spokes of the wraparound porch are all gnawed through by animals.
Ed gazes up at the broken windows and the birds that have built nests there. At his side, Stede is waiting, rocking back and forth on his heels.
"It’s perfect," says Ed.

Summary
How it all plays out in my mind.
“From the library of Stede Bonnet” the stamp read, and though the ink had bled, he recognized it immediately, briefly recalling the 14 hours he spent hand-marking every last book in his captain’s library. He gently closed the book and turned to lay it back on the water, letting the volume slip back into the sea, as his thoughts bubbled over and his stomach clenched. He didn’t pick up anything else after that, for fear of what he might find.

Blackbeard wakes up on the beach of a strange island. He doesn't recognise the constellations and the tide moves in the wrong direction. Also why are the birds flying upside down?
Stede and his crew have stolen a Merchant vessel and are looking for the revenge assuming Blackbeard is aboard. Ed is not prepared for the disappointment that lies ahead.
The crew aboard the Revenge think Blackbeard has been killed and thrown overboard during a midnight raid. Izzy isn’t so sure however life must go on, how long will the crew take orders from a man they don’t respect before they snap?
