Maybe that was all that was needed to avoid a horrible fate, although there will definitely be some unexpected tribulations along the way - one being a pesky thing known as 'handling your emotions'.

After 4 million years, what are they even fighting for? The Decepticons are tired, hungry and angry. Some would rather be living than fighting. Fear of Megatron can only keep a mech in line for so long after all.
