The air is thick until you hear him laugh, you think you heard it wrong, so you look at him. It is sudden and startles you shortly, sharp with something you couldn’t name.
He leans back slightly, letting his aching muscles rest when he looks at you.
“Didnae think I’d survive all tha’ just’a flinch a’ my own pet.” His tone is light, teasing and cruel because he pretends it isn't.
You open your mouth again, there were no words to say, that you could say, you correct . He only laughs cruelly, shaking his head. “m jokin’.” He mutters, brushing past you. “Christ.”
He gives you the knife and calls it a kiss.

I own neither the characters nor the big plot points, and I only own the y/n. Plus, I have made ideas so she fits into the world.
A few things that are not canon will be added to the story to work properly.I am going to upload at least once every two weeks. I work a lot, but this is a big passion project.

Sebastian Sallow and Abigail Crane agreed that it was best to part ways after the tragic events of their fifth year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. So part ways they did, both set out to pretend that the things they'd experienced together were behind them entirely. But after a year of being apart, the two seem to be drawn back to each other, plagued by shared nightmares, twisted memories and forced to relive their use of Unforgivable Curses. What the two of them can't seem to explain, is why they are eager to jump right back into the dark path they started on fifth year, or just how far they are willing to go down it.

Sebastian is a nerd, Poppy hates Ominis, who is down bad for her, summertime offers Complicated Feelings™, and everyone finally gets to act like Dumb Teenagers (There’s plot too, but they get to be Dumb Teenagers first). They corrupt younger students, harass anyone who tries to oppose them, and exploit witches and wizards.
When MC starts at Hogwarts, Sebastian and his companions find a new target for their evil deeds. They are all extremely attracted to the new student, and without any remorse, they make her their new victim.

The way Sebastian's voice sunk like hot claws against her core. The way his smelted-copper gaze drilled into her, intensity that scorched.
All of it burgeoning instincts of a nature removed from humanity. Temples throbbing with bloodlust barely contained.
The façade had crumbled, revealing only the raw and primeval. Staring at her in freckled anticipation.
The realization that her knees were shaking came only after she spoke, her mouth dry with what she hoped was fear: "I want you to leave."
"Alright, alright." His tone laced with what might've been authenticity. However, that deceptive curl of lips belied it.
In one gasping second, Sebastian released her face and retreated.
Only to double back, snatch her hand in a crushing grip, and yank her into him.
"Then I suppose we'll have to make this quick and dirty."

Sebastian locked onto her gaze. Then pivoted to a table piled high with unclaimed parcels.
"You'll have to tell me more about that, by the way." Shoulders rolled with purpose among boxes and bags. Nearly ritualistic, like he'd plundered them before.
A portrait of Paracelsus gave a ghostly side-eye in the greenish gloom. So did MC.
"What're you getting into?"
Paper tore; a cork popped. That was answer enough, but:
"Booze shouldn't be wasted. Finders, keepers."
The last and only time she drank with Sebastian, it was a laugh.
But funhouse mirror sort of laughter. Sweet and sour, cider, skeletons in closets. A man's face where a boy's should be, fading in and out.
A reel playing the unreal.
Still, MC couldn't shake the thought: was it forced? Did he still have some twisted compulsion to make up for… something, despite the fragile peace?
Maybe he was just bored. Big parties got old.
She had asked him to team up in Potions, and they were both planless tonight—so why not chat a bit? Kill the awkwardness, and come away all the more ready for their practicum.
And Sebastian truly drunk? Now that was an intriguing thought.
