God what he would give to have those times back, when it was just him and Will sharing a bed, sneaking midnight snacks and giggling at comics. But now everything is different, Will is in college in New York with new friends, he’s thriving while Mike is slowly spiralling and he can’t place the reason why but he knows it’s happening. “I love you” Maggie whispers to Mike as he slips into bed next to her and she cuddles into him, Mike stays stiff as a board, he’s never liked hugs or touch from friends or family, not even his girlfriends but there is one exception to his dislike of hugs and touch and that is again as always Will fucking Byers. Mike doesn’t understand it, he doesn’t understand why it seems everytime Mike hates something that people do, Will is always the exception every time.
“Mike? I love you” Maggie whispers again as she always assumes the best in Mike that he’s not ignoring her he just didn’t hear, just like Will, he thinks.
“I- you too” Mike whispers back kissing Maggie on the head before turning away onto his side.

Ilya is the captain, so if anything, he should be holding the leash. In English, you can be singular or plural, but he knows what Svensson is trying to say. He is saying Ilya Rozanov, you are Hollander’s bitch.
“Only sometimes,” Ilya replies, grinning. He wins the face off.
