Though no time in their line of work could be called peaceful, nor could vacations really be vacations for anybody (especially Twilight) she just… she just never expected an… emergency of this scale would arise. A setback this adverse. This disastrous. Almost catastrophic, even, considering how much Twilight shoulders on the daily for peace between two nations. This vacation was meant to be a rest and rebuild for her busiest and most efficient agent. Her best.

After inheriting his grandfather's old house, Yoongi sets to work fixing it up and making it fully liveable again. This would work better if his grandfather hadn't also offered the very same house to two rival real estate companies and promised that whoever lived in the house the longest could keep it, but Yoongi has no intention of giving up his house. No matter how cute the realtors may be. No matter how complicated their history, or the looks Namjoon and Hoseok trade when they think no one is looking.
So maybe this would be easier if Yoongi didn't want to kiss them both either.
Nothing in Yoongi's life has ever been easy.

He talks to Yoongi all day, every day. Sends him random, funny anecdotes about work, pictures of little dogs he sees on the street, and ridiculous selfies. Gets equally ridiculous selfies back, along with pictures of Yoongi’s plants or the dinner he’s cooking that night or the other boys. Seokjin sends him a video of himself on the beach and Yoongi retaliates with one of his grumpy face beneath a bus stop in the rain. Seokjin complains about crunch at work and the fact that he’s started practically living in the office and Yoongi sends him silly alpaca videos all day until he’s giggling at his desk from more than just the unholy amounts of Redbull he’s consumed.
They’re 9,580 kilometers apart but he thinks that Yoongi has never felt closer. And in his chest the love takes root.
Starts to bloom.

The first part was a little rocky, sure, and the whole Hydra thing was horrific on a level he still can’t quite process. Somehow he’s managed to tough his way through it anyway, and now he lives in a fancy house with his friends, has a job where he gets to punch people without remorse (delightful) and he has not one but two freakishly hot boyfriends who are also superheroes.
So he’s having a pretty good time. Thing is, his boyfriends are also idiots.

Summary
The strange thing is that Barton ought to be an unremarkable man. He has no superpowers, no enhancements, no complicated vengeful backstory, or at least not one that was mentioned in his file. What he seems to have - helping his neighbour upstairs with her groceries, or stopping a mugger, or fighting against Doombots with the Avengers and putting himself at unacceptable risk - is an unshakeable loyalty and a dented moral compass that nonetheless always points him right.
It's intriguing. Confusing. Fascinating in ways that the Soldier has no idea how to explain.
So instead he reports back on the harmless details; the dog, the range, the dull gold ring on the fourth finger of Barton's left hand.
