SINCE NOBODY DID IT YET, I WILL DO IT
(SPOILERS FOR TROLLS BAND TOGETHER ENDING)Branch catched Floyd's transparent, unmoving body, and gently put his brother down on the ground. His 3 other brothers gathered around him immediately, looking worried, shocked, standing in complete disbelief.
Branch wasn't truly processing that maybe, after this entire adventure, they didn't succeed. That maybe Floyd is gone... no, that can't be. Floyd just needs a moment to collect himself together, right?
"Floyd..?" he asked carefully, as gently as possible, the way Floyd always spoke with him. He waited patiently, but no answer came. Floyd remained quiet and unmoving.
In other words: what if Floyd never woke up and died on scene?
