What started as a fun surprise for Christmas, ended with Tony, Steve and Peter crash-landing in a different universe. They weren't new to these kinds of adventures and getting home would have been fairly easy. If there wasn't the problem that Peter had accidentally been de-aged in the process.

“Papa, there is no snow,” he whined. His breath caused his little hands to leave equally little handprints on the glass.
Steve raised an amused eyebrow at his son’s tone. “Good morning to you too, little man. Where’s my good morning hug, huh?”
Peter reluctantly averted his gaze from the snowless balcony and ran over to his father, crashing into his legs to hug him tightly. He was surprisingly strong for a tiny four year old. “Mornin, papa.”
Steve ruffled his wild hair. “Good morning, Peter,” he smiled. “Where did you leave your daddy?”
“Daddy sleeps. There is no snow,” he deadpanned, looking up at Steve with huge eyes, as if Steve was solely responsible for the weather..oOo.

Summary
“But…that was weeks ago,” Steve repeated Natasha’s words.
“Time is relative in Asgard,” Thor said, nodding gravely. He knew best just what his brother’s magic was capable of.
“And it’s not that uncommon,” Bruce mused. He tapped an unsteady rhythm against his mug. “Amnesia is still partly a medical mystery. It’s within the range of possibilities for an accident like that to have late complications. And if the amnesia is a side effect of whatever light he'd been hit with, then there's no telling what's actually wrong with him. If it’s really from Loki’s scepter then we can just pray.”When Tony wakes up one day and doesn't remember being Iron Man or his husband, Steve's world crashes and burns. He decides that he will do everything that is within his power to win the love of his life back.
