Summary
The place is immaculately set with red carpets across the grass, floral arches blending seamlessly into the surrounding greenery. It’s a breath of fresh air outside the busy streets of central London.
As he takes in the warm decorations, Oscar's eyes are pulled towards the man standing a few feet away, glass almost filled to the brim with – wine? – as he chats with one of the charity’s board directors.
So, Lando is on time, too.
And that's not always the most expected case either.
Before Oscar can look away, Lando’s eyes catch his, mid-laugh. Oscar gets a bit self-conscious but manages a polite nod.
Lando smiles wide in return, that adorable – stupid – gap between his teeth in full view, and does the silly little bowing thing, raising his glass in greeting.
Oscar snorts at that, grinning despite himself.
Or
Oscar Piastri, the Crown Prince of Australia, works part-time at a multinational tech company owned by CEO Lando Norris.
Maintaining professional boundaries hasn't been a big deal for two long years, and it won't be one in the days to come.
At least, that's what Oscar tells himself.

“So?” Lando huffed out as he placed the glass down on the table, “That's your question?”
Oscar just shrugged, raising his eyebrows expectantly. Lando shook his head.
“Yeah well, you’re fucking Spiderman so don’t give me that look.”
Oscar drew a sharp breath as he bit the inside of his cheek, staring at the dark wooden floorboards for a few seconds before finding it in himself to bite back.
"And what's up with you then? What's your deal?" he asked almost aggressively, giving Lando the same judging gaze.
"My deal?"

or, Oscar has been Spiderman for long enough to get used to fighting Max, but when another assasine enters the fight, things quickly become messy. Between fighting the man who killed his mother, and falling in love with his coworker, Oscar now has to balance his private life with his life as Spiderman. It doesnt go too well.

The boy laughs and extends a hand out for a handshake. “Oscar. You’re drunk.”
“Okay? Come dance with me.” Lando’s question isn’t so much of an ask, as it is a command. He grabs Oscar’s hand and pulls him into the center of the room, where the rest of the world seems to disappear.
He could get used to this.
Or: Lando knew that forgetting a pen on the first day of university was a big deal, he didn't think that it would change his life so much though.

Summary
The accidental appearance of another teenage boy hopelessly obsessed with cars at one of his father’s garages leads Oscar down a rabbit hole of Lando’s social media, just as Lando is beginning his career as a blogger. Oscar leaves comments under his posts for years, never even imagining that fate would eventually throw them into the same university. But getting close to Lando is nearly impossible — he's always surrounded by a crowd of popular friends. Through a strange twist of circumstances, Oscar, who never even dared hope to get close to him, first ends up in the middle of an illegal street race and then comes up with a Totally Foolproof Plan to Chase Lando Norris.
Although… perhaps the plan failed to account for something from the very beginning?

Lucky Lando grabs his apron, pulling out the fabric so he can read his own tag. Then he sighs, loudly. “Sorry, that’s— Just call me Lando, alright?”
“Alright Lando,” Logan replies. “Can I ask what makes you so lucky?”
“Sounds like a stripper name,” Oscar mutters. Then he visibly realises that he did, in fact, say that aloud, and turns pink.
Lucky Lando only laughs.

Lando shot him a look. “I was gonna cook.” Obviously?
“Right.”
“Ratoutille,” he clarified.
“Ratatouille?”
“Yeah that. Whatever.”
Oscar looked at him, amused. “And why did you need to do that now, of all times?” he asked, intrigue seeping into his words. Lando had half a mind to tell Oscar to mind his own damn business but thought better of it. Weirdly, he was enjoying their odd little interaction.
Maybe it was something about how the supermarket felt like its own small little world, near-deserted in the middle of the night and somehow separate from the rainy London outside, or maybe it was because Oscar was the first person in days who didn't look at Lando like he was fragile, like he needed to be pitied.
“Because it's life changing,” he said, stupidly.
