“He flicked a smoke bomb, aiming for the heels. As the plume of blue smoke rose he darted around the man, reciting his well rehearsed speech. “I am the terror that flaps in the night! I am the pole in the winter that sticks to the tongue of crime! I am Darkwing Duck!” He stuck a pose as the smoke cleared, holding his arms high in the air like he was scaring off a bear.
The broad-shouldered man swayed drunkenly, but the air didn’t smell like any spirit Darkwing could recall. Headphones. This guy had headphones in. How he had missed them before, Darkwing didn’t know. As he continued watching the man, walking backwards so as to not bump into him, he watched his movements more carefully. He was dancing, eyes closed, swaying to some beat only he could hear. Darkwing chewed on his cheek in a poor attempt to swallow the embarrassment throbbing in his face and neck.”

Penacony feels so stifling.
So, when a train shows up, and a red-haired woman offers her a place on it...well, Robin can't refuse, can she? Maybe this 'Astral Express' can help Robin finally be somebody again.
And maybe her mysterious bodyguard, Firefly, can as well.
Or: Robin's bullet wound has actual consequences, I put her on the Express just because, and Firefly...is Firefly. Also, this is going to be lighter then what the tags suggest lol. We are gonna be dealing with dark stuff, but aside from that it's really just focusing on Robin healing.
