Water
Soothing, life giving, representation of life itself.
Choking, suffocating, representation of fear.
Hunger knaws at the bone, scrapping and snapping until all you may feel is chalk against stone. It weighs your body, just as water to clothes. Bringing you down to the cold, cold ground and making your knees ache with weariness. Hunger leaks down your throat, scratching at the muscle and sinew like freezing mud, pulling and pulling until your tongue is in your stomach and your heart heavy with rock.
Water leaks down as well, choking screams with a suffocating embrace. No one can hear you scream, you are alone. The water swallows you like a beast from the Forrests, stars a million, thousand eyes shining upon you with no mercy. Baring you to its stripping gaze until all you can feel is the creeping sensation of cold wrapping you in its embrace. Water blends with the sky until all you see is black and stars and eyes and cold. You are alone.Hiya! First fic here lol. Its very flowy and descriptive so make sure to read the notes!

The red light is blinking.
Techno wonders vaguely if the recorder picks up the sound of him swallowing back tears, the soft whimper when he shifts too far and his burns rub against his sleeves. It doesn't matter, he supposes. The light is still blinking, it's still on, and the person behind him is waiting, silent. Eyes burning into him. It's time to put on a show, Techno knows that. He does. He doesn't want to.
How did it come to this? How did he let this happen? Techno stares into the shadows behind the red light, where he can imagine his dad is standing when it gets really bad, and he- how did it go again?
Oh, right.
