Summary
Yu thinks his purpose is best served helping people. So when he gets his doctor's license he's excited to be able to take care of the people at the Inaba municipal hospital for his first permanent job.
Yosuke is still searching for his purpose post graduation and ends up being a frequent visitor to the clinic. Yu is more than happy to treat his best friend, in more ways than one. Maybe all Yosuke needs is his partner back to clear his mind and simplify things a little bit.

“It should just be simple statistics,” the detective said, leaning back where they’re sitting deep in thought.

Summary
Akira swims away, laying on his back, exposing the sheer amount of muscle that lines his abdomen, sides, and arms. Goro’s eyes watch Akira’s torso, mesmerized by the way his gills flutter with each breath. Crossing his arms behind his back, Akira cocks his head at Goro, arching an eyebrow. If Goro didn’t know any better, he might think the mer was putting himself on display.
-----For the last seven years of his life, Goro Akechi has trained to kill mers. To prove that he's come of age and is a man among men, he has to bring one home as a trophy. When he goes out to sea to trap and kill his first mer, he does so just before breeding season, in hopes that he'll catch an unsuspecting mer. Instead, he's caught unawares by a mer with a thing for humans. This human in particular.

It started innocently enough. Akira brushed his hands across the small of Goro’s back as he passed by, moving him from one side in the kitchen with hands at Goro’s hips—only to retrieve something from a drawer. It never failed to jolt Goro with anticipation every time, hoping against hope that this would finally be the time Akira acted.
A stray nose brushing against Goro’s neck led to a soft kiss beneath his jaw. Light kisses, Akira’s hand wrapping along Goro’s nape in that way he loved, turning heavier, hotter. Little, short bursts of affectionate touches crescendoed to rapid-fire rounds, heavy-hitting and lingering long after he pulled away. On Akira’s tongue, the question lingered, sticky and suggestive. Let me try something tonight?
