Jude glared at Parker, eyes swimming with suspicion. Parker looked, really studied his face, but there wasn’t a flicker of recognition. Finally, Jude replied in a meek voice, completely unlike the upset tone he was using moments before, “Yes, please take me home.”

Summary
The storm outside worsened. Snow battered the windows hard enough to sound like thrown gravel. Somewhere below, a distant explosion rattled through the street followed by shouting and the metallic clash of weapons.
Wemmbu closed his eyes briefly.
The cold settled deeper into him inch by inch, slow and invasive. His horns throbbed. His fingers stung. The ache was low and rhythmic, a second heartbeat in his ribs, steady and insistent—the kind of pain you get used to until it becomes part of you.
Still, he stayed seated outside Flame’s door.
OR
With nowhere else to go, Wemmbu sits stubbornly outside Flame's door amidst a snowstorm until Flame finally lets him in. Fluff ensues.

Summary
Wemmbu knew no one would understand- A title he no longer wanted. The world wouldn’t receive the news well, but Wemmbu could finally live in peace.
Bacon tasted defeat one too many times to know that one way or another he was gonna die in this field. He decided to hurry the process along and fake his death.
Freedom was bittersweet and he knew control would soon slip away once more. But Reddoons would savour the fresh air as long as he could before he was dragged back there.

Three roommates with powers attempt to live normally. It goes as well as you expect when you have three traumatized superpowered people all under the same roof.
