Higgs comes across Sam in the wild, and learns an exciting little secret about his favourite porter. Naturally, he makes the most of it.
Higgs' breath gusts heavy along his neck, deep pulls of air so close to Sam's scent glands it feels like a caress. Sam jerks his head away, but that only serves to expose more of his throat to the tongue that burns a line up his neck.
A low rumble vibrates through him, through the both of them; pure undiluted satisfaction. "They just let you out like this, huh?" Higgs asks. "Or did you slip the leash?"
Sam's head feels full of fog, and it takes him far too long to grind out, "What?"
"Right on the cusp of your heat, smelling just," his murderer takes another deep breath, voice gravel over smoke as he finishes, "good enough to eat. Who'd have thought the mythical Sam Bridges was an omega."

Higgs, long presumed gone, resurfaces. Damaged, but still dangerously charismatic. But this time, the encounter ends not in violence, but in something far more unexpected: a plea for help.
Caught between anger, resentment, and a flicker of reluctant empathy, Sam must decide whether redemption is possible for a man like Higgs, or if some monsters are better left dead in the tar.
In short: a post-Death Stranding 2, Higgs-focused fix-it, heavy on grief, depression, and the slow, messy process of learning how not to be a monster anymore.

Viktor made a thoughtful noise. His good leg hooked around Jayces chair and pulled himself closer as he spoke. His knees bumped into Jayces thighs, which jostled Viktors in response out of pure habit. “Then we can focus on some of the more pressing matters.”
“Pressing matters? Did we get something else–” Jayce finally looked up, his voice was louder now, and he stared straight into Viktors amber eyes. They were full of an emotion he couldn’t decipher in his state of mind.
“No, none of that.” Viktor responded softer than Jayce, trying to soothe. “I am talking about you, Jayce.”
