Summary

The year is 1933. A shapeshifter toon named Blu Portobello commits the crime of mass mutilation and illegal administering of drugged bodily fluids on the Luxury Express, a planned attack on the boarded human passengers. Despite novice detective Ruth Dextrose’s efforts to capture her brethren, Blu escapes and remains on the run.
Four years later, the Luxury Express reopens after the incident, and Ruth returns to the train to study what’s left of the evidence. However, his attempt to figure out what Blu’s ‘special’ plans are go sour when the ten passengers aboard are roped into plotted, individual attacks identical to the ones four years ago.
Except this time, none of the passengers are Blu, meaning that one of them is actually their criminalistic shapeshifter in hiding.. and Ruth must stake everything she’s claimed on tearing the disguise off Blu’s fake persona to ensure this madness ends, once and for all.

With no one to go with, Apollo offers them to Klavier since surely, a rockstar would be able to find a date before then, but Klavier has a better idea—they go together and pretend they're a couple. That way, they both get a vacation, plus free food and wine.
And well, Apollo's never been one to pass up free food.
