He tried to teach him with the little short time he had, but he remembered that Harry was only 6. The dark men couldn’t stay to long because it was dangerous, but he did everything he could to give little Harry the tools so that he could help himself.
At the end of the day, that was all the little Harry needed…

Long before Reborn was supposed to come and tutor Fem!Tsuna into becoming a Mafia Boss, she is kidnapped at the age of twelve and sold to a bunch of shady goverment/military types who are trying to figure out flames and Skies by experimentation. Unfortunately they have very little idea what they're doing. They succeed in breaking the seal on Tsuna and activating her flames. They fail at realizing they had done so.
Tsuna, who has no idea what was done to her, goes on to make friends with her awesome magic flame-powers, and tries to survive until someone figures out what is going on and rescues them, or they can escape.

The sequal to : The Split. Can be read without reading The Split, but there may be a bit of confusion. Recommend reading at least the first chapter of The Split first.
Sawada Tsunako is not what Reborn is expecting after reading his profile. It quickly becomes clear he will need to change his entire plan to tutor the young heiress. The fact that she seems to have her own secrets and secret agenda doesn't help. Things continue on okay until Reborn gets to his second and third Namimori candidates for Guardianship. It was hard enough to make himself introduce Sasagawa Ryohei as a possible Sun Guardian, when he wanted that position for himself. The way Tsunako refuses to even consider Yamamoto for her Guardian frustrates Reborn. The way she explodes on him for introducing a possible Sun Guardian confuses him. What on earth is going on with Sawada Tsunako, Reborn wonders. He also wonders if this will be the first contract he's failed since starting out. It is certainly the most challenging in a long time. Reborn just wants to finish up his job without getting any more attached and then spend the remainder of his short, cursed life, in peace and chaos. Tsuna just wants him to stop showing her other Guardian Candidates.

The Fourth Shinobi War wasn't going well. Shinobi were dying right-left-and-center. Ono Toshiko had done what she could to avoid it - and failed.
Her little brother had a plan. A fail-safe. A seal attached to her heart, mind, and chakra network so that if his latest knuckle-headed scheme to fix their world failed, there would still be hope.
She agreed but prayed nonetheless that a miracle would occur and after the war was over Naruto would take the seal off of her.
She should have known better.
After all - if there were deities listening, they clearly had no mercy for a reincarnated soul. Especially not enough to *not* force her to do it all over again. Only in a new body, and a new time.

Hiding in the Chamber of Secrets for the summer with only Dobby, a dead basilisk, a mangey-looking dog he finds, and a portrait that is weirdly interested in mentoring him might be a recipe for disaster, but could also be the best summer Harry's ever had (not that there's much competition really).

One version of Harry Potter had his soul sucked out the night he was attacked by dementors, another version cast a patronus and chased them off. The version that lost his soul probably wouldn't mind the one who lived taking his body as long as he used it to protect the people he cared about... even if that version was older, better trained, and much darker.
With his second chance Harry refuses to be just the Boy-Who-Lived, but Voldemort isn't the only threat to magical Britian. The Ministry and Dumbledore have been playing games for decades and it's time for someone new to over throw the powers that be.
