“Darling, I was trying to, you know-” Ybbob started, but was cut off when the other vampire slapped him.
It was a pretty hard slap too. Ybbob’s face turned and hit the wall, where he just stood for a while, kinda being a drama queen about it.
“Fuck yeah” Alexandra said. She wasn’t quite sure where the words had come from, seeing as they certainly didn’t fit the character she was trying to play. She then had the horrifying realization that she wasn’t acting at all. Her mask had completely slipped away while talking to this woman.

Summary
The man hovering over him leaned back, releasing Grian completely. Cold night air rushed in to fill the void.
“I guess it’s out in the open now,” the stranger hummed. “Shame. I wanted to avoid this.”
With the additional glow occupying the space between them, Grian was finally able to catch features that were lost in the prior darkness. His curiosity outweighed all else, and he drank them in greedily. As soon as he saw who sat across from him, alarms blared in his mind.
This man wasn’t a civilian, wasn’t even a hero.
“Hello, Doctor,” the villain mused. “You were quite the help today.”

Summary

Rescued, but imprisoned, Zuko finds himself no further from death on a water tribe ship. Sokka, the chief, would see him bleeding out on the boards of the deck as justice. He's a fire bender, the evil of the war that his father rages through their world. Zuko hasn't been a part of that war. Not for years. Now he's thrust back into it against his will, finding himself fighting on a side he never expected to be a part of. Maybe he'll find a cause worth fighting for; someone worth fighting for.
