Summary
A young man by the name of Natsuki Subaru lived his life as a pathetic NEET who, in his own sadness, unintentionally mooched off of his own parents since beginning high school.
Then, one day, his father decided he was tired of seeing his son wallow in his own misery and helped kick-start the beginning to getting his life back on track.
Subaru went back to school and got his diploma, got a job, and eventually went off to university, feeling more than proud of himself for finally being able to make a critical change in his life. He felt like a new man, despite how many of his old feelings still lingered inside of him.
He was expecting to live the rest of his life as normal as possible, hoping he would never find himself in his previous hole again, no matter how much his mind and body urged him to return to his old ways.
And, well, while he didn't return to his old ways, the new life he received after deciding to play hero on a whim was definitely not one he could call normal. Still though, he treasured it as much as he would a normal life, no matter how annoying it could be at times.
It was just too much fun.
