Summary
Yuuji had turned his fingers into cursed objects, and he decided to live on as a curse.
Why exactly?
Simple: He wanted to help more people with the powers he had been gifted.
The people in his life would've wanted him to live on to the fullest, but considering he was immortal and couldn't age, that was going to take a loooooooong time.
So with a final goodbye to his remaining friends, Itadori initiated a ritual and put his soul into ten distinctive fingers, which he instructed to be put in shrines across Japan. His body was buried with respect, and Itadori walked away from the life he knew while his perception went dark for eons.
Then, a boy in 3018 stumbled upon the ruins of the modern world and found a small box that had the finger labeled in a language no longer recognized, and out of curiosity about the contents, the boy ate it.
And all of a sudden, a second voice spoke within the depths of his mind, kind and comforting in contrast to who the boy was in his past life.
"Hey...nice to meet you."
And the boy remembered.
Or

Yuuji half expected Yui to shrug it off and give him the finger (as he seemed like one who would do so), but when a smile crept up on Yui's face, and he looked back at Yuuji, there was the obvious indication that something had flipped in the boy, and Yuuji couldn't help but scuff.
"...Too soon, Sukuna?"
"...screw you, brat. My mind is still fuzzy from all those memories that jogged through my brain...and I'm still Yui...Sukuna is a thing of the past. This is my redemption, after all."

Summary
The Goal of this "Fic" is to document exactly how Gege Akutami presents the [Ten Shadows] technique in the Jujutsu Kaisen Manga and speculating exactly how it works based on what is and isn't shown. Those chapter endings where Gege Admitted that the math behind the [Limitless] technique made no sense does make this slightly redundant, however even if they don't make sense with the fake math Gege made, he does still stick to the rules he made in the story. I will be gathering every time the [Ten Shadows] is used, talked about and then speculate on the rules Gege follows yet doesn't state.
(I would like to note that this isn't me policing fic writing, a good deal of JJk is about characters interpreting their technique, however as someone who likes complying to lore this technique is by far the most difficult to pin down the rules for outside the basics. If you want your SI-MC to use an open barrier domain and summon 1000 Mahoragas, go ahead, however I'm still making this for general use - and hopefully discussion on whether my opinion is brain dead)

One of them has only watched the first episode of jjk and almost exclusively reads crack, one is chronically online and has only seen jjk through the anime and spoilers on the internet, and the last one has read the manga and mostly reads angst.
