Lee Sanghyeok asked distractedly, also watching Choi Hyeonjoon’s retreating back, “What, that he’d run away?”
“No, that he’d crashed into the trash can. That specific trash can.”

Soonyoung gasps sharply, and Junhui meows in confusion when Soonyoung suddenly picks him up off his comfy spot on the sofa and squeezes him. "How could you even suggest such a thing?! If anything, you would be the one asking me. Happy is the love of my life, you're just here by extension."
"Oh, really?"
Soonyoung nods adamantly. "And he loves me, too. Look!"
Junhui's still very confused, but when Soonyoung hugs him tight, he can only snuggle back because Junhui would never give up the chance to hug him. Soonyoung crows in triumph, petting Junhui's head happily. "See that? Maybe he even loves me more than he loves you, Wonwoo."
Junhui's been able to turn into a cat since before he can remember. Keeping a secret that huge takes a pretty big toll on him, so he doesn't think it's his fault that he manages to accidentally get adopted and reveal his secret to his best friend that he might be a little bit in love with. It's alright, though, because no matter what, he's still the happiest cat alive.

“Are you sleeping with Mackie?” Chris asks, and Seb hesitates a moment too long.
It's not jealousy, Chris thinks later, mulling it over. It's— it's true, what he said: he doesn't swing that way, isn't jealous in a way that would mean he wants either of them for himself. It's just, he feels left out, is all. Lonesome on the edges, just like always.
