Summary
The Na’vi looks different without the paint and the mask – smaller, dwarfed by the shadow Techno casts over him – eyes expanding into two glowing moons amidst the star-spangled freckles.
Oh, Techno thinks, it’s a child.
And before he can begin to process that thought, the boy charges into Techno and wraps his arms around his waist.
“Wilbur,” he says in English, voice cracking, “you’re back.”
In both bodies – the one that stands breathless as it’s hugged tighter by the child, and the other comatose in Bridgehead – Techno’s heart sinks.

Wilbur, Techno's twin brother, has abandoned him to join a classified mission on extrasolar moon Pandora. Seven years later Wilbur is mysteriously dead and Techno receives an invitation to step into his shoes.
Techno has arrived on Pandora in search of answers, but he does not expect them to be a traumatized seven feet tall alien boy who believes him to be his dead twin.

Ranboo thought about putting his phone down and not paying it anymore mind for another week, but that seemed unkind so, in his still half-conscious state, he responded with:
You: i see ghosts and they tell me some messed up shit lmaoOr: Ranboo is an author who gets his ideas from the stories the ghosts he can see tell him. Techno is one of the only stable things in his life and his editor for said books. A new ghost shows up and decides that today is time to start some stuff.

Summary
Ranboo is the result of Project Generation Loss, a secret government experiment to create a hyper-advanced race of human weapons by genetically engineering a baby in the womb. He was the only one of the pool of 10 children to survive.
The Failure of the Project came to be known as the Lostfield Incident.
On his 18th birthday, Ranboo is escorted out of the base into a world he has never known to be a perfect assassin. Things get a little complicated when he learns the truth- America was not the first to attempt this, but it was the first to succeed. Everyone wants a weapon like him. When word gets out of his existence, he's transported away to hide in NATO territory until his training is complete- landing him in a safe house with someone altered by science, just like him- but instead of being an assassin and spy, this kid is a dictionary of top-secret MI6 knowledge. The problem? He can't shut up. So now they're hiding. Together.
