Wilbur zipped up the tent, crawling inside and collapsing on the floor. His fingers itched for a jumper, the feeling of cold bricks pressing against the flimsy tent material making him want to scream. Covering his face with his matting hair, he nestled into a ball like a penguin hiding away from the world. He supposed it wasn’t too far off the truth, camouflaging himself had always been a rudimental instinct that had been brought out for survival.
After all, it would be fucking pathetic to be found on his third day.
