Greed knew this. In the memories Ling could see of the previous Greed, he may know this better than he thought he did. Better than Ling. The thought leaves a sour taste in Ling’s mouth.

Her messy hair bun was nearly undone. Star sighed, clearly upset she didn't get to go to the blood moon ball. But her eyes abruptly brightened up.
"Hey, what if you come with me? It won't be so 'dangerous' that way!"
