“I came…for the Revive Book,” Tubbo rasps and behind him, Tommy jerks like someone’s jabbed him with a poker.
“You what?” he hisses.
Tubbo ignores him.
Tommy never really warmed up to Ranboo after all.
Dream’s head tilts, like he’s only just clocking Tubbo’s armor, the distribution of materials between himself and Tommy. He folds his hands over his chest, hiding away that stump of a finger. His stance is fused with irritation.
“You want your Minutes Man back?” Dream asks and there is no denying the loose edge of mocking in that coo.

Tubbo wants his husband back from the dead.
Something as simple as logic- common sense and Dream being rather creative with his brewing stand won't stop him- even if this is a bump in the road..
I won't spoil it! But the descriptions are sharp edged and amazing the tension is tight and Tubbo needs all the therapy he won't buy! -

Maybe it’s the vulnerability penning him in on either side, the easy way Ranboo slumps into him and trusts Tubbo to hold his weight, or the way Tommy grins and asks question after question like he can’t even imagine being ignored or denied. The deep trust and simple kindness seep into him like an infectious, terminal disease — that’s what he’ll blame it on when his brain is more than a soft mush of warm and alive.
Tubbo smiles bitter-sweet and utters, “I got to keep my memories.”

But it's not for Wilbur. Or Spins. Or anyone who is actually dead, and would need to be grieved.
It’s for Tommy, who’s sitting right next to him, alive and well.
