“Do you live out here?” The boy asked, and Sukuna thought for a moment before shrugging. He didn’t live here specifically, but he did live in the woods. “Hmm, cool. I’m Satoru, we’re going to be best friends.” He grinned after that, so wide and blinding that all of his eyes closed, and Sukuna, against his will, thought it was adorable.
He grunted, thinking for a second before muttering “Sukuna,” nodding at the boy. Satoru grinned, finally opening all of his eyes to peer around Sukuna and look at the river, quickly bolting by his shoulder not even a moment later. Sukuna shook his head, chuckling under his breath as he walked towards the other boy, who had already taken purchase next to his hastily-made campfire. He’s intrigued by this boy, he can admit it, and he feels anticipation thrumming under his skin.
As he sits down next to Satoru at the fire, he realizes that this boy was the first person to ever look at him.
He doesn’t know what to do with that.

Teruhashi falls in love with Kuriko Saiki. She tries desperately to repress her feelings and deny that she likes girls. She was scared people would see her differently if she was a lesbian, and also scared her brother would try and hurt Saiki if he found out. But the more they get to know each other the more she falls deeper in love with Saiki. On the other hand, Kuriko Saiki hasn't had the best home life ever since her brother moved in temporarily. Kuriko finds any excuse to leave the house, even if that means hanging out with the girl who has fallen for her. She knows she can't let herself get emotionally attached, but slowly she falls for her too.

Itadori looks down, bewildered, at Megumi’s tense arm stretched out on the sheets, at his balled fist and the way the rest of his body remains stick-straight. “Seriously?”
Megumi nods. He wills his face into an impassive mask.
“But-”
“You said you can’t sleep unless you’re holding onto something right?” Megumi grits out. “But there’s nothing in here you can cling to. So just hold onto my arm and go to sleep,”
Itadori frowns, the smallest wrinkle forming between his brows. It makes his already tired face look even more exhausted. He’s always like this, Megumi can’t help but think. Constantly worrying about other people. Maybe he should worry about himself more for a change.
Megumi's a light sleeper, and Yuuji needs something to hold.

"Woah there, pause." Gojo cut him off, clearly more awake now. "Did I hear that right? What do you mean crashed into you while you were in midair?"
"I said what I said. Some guy crashed into me, and that's why I'm asking if the experiment lost two specimens or more."
Gojo rubbed his temples, eyebrows furrowing. "I don't think so. I retrieved as many documents as I could from the lab, but none of them mentioned a second spider or anything similar."

(He misses the shrinking, glowing crack in the ground behind him, big enough for a person to crawl out of. The sloshing of green water blends with the muted clamour of running water, dull humming and beeping—all of it abruptly silenced as the crack snaps shut, leaving only unblemished stone behind.)
