Summary
Meet David Rose and Patrick Brewer, the two men who were found living on a deserted island for over forty-five days after the Blayze Music Festival went up in smoke.
Documentary filmmaker (town council member, real estate agent, closet organizer, and photographer) Ray Butani has assembled an in-depth, first-person account of one of the more positive outcomes of the fraudulent festival: the romance that blossomed amongst the chaos.
Binge read all eight episodes to learn how getting lost led David and Patrick to find both themselves and each other.

Summary
The Wingmen are back for their first tour since 2012, and it’s probably your last chance to see iHeartRadio’s Throwback Song of the Year, “I’m Not Here (For Your Sister)” performed live. With the latest news about Sebastien Raine’s sudden departure from the once popular boy band, you might even be able to find a ticket to the sold-out shows, as long as you don’t mind that they’ve replaced Seb with some guy you’ve never heard of. (His name is Patrick Brewer, he plays guitar, and you really won’t mind, trust us). As if that wasn’t enough, rumors are also flying that Patrick may be taking over Sebastien’s place in the heart of the Wingmen’s most fashionable member, David Rose, after Wingnuts circulated photos of them sharing a steamy embrace. We’re still not convinced it’s love, but stay tuned for all the tour (and romance) updates.

Summary
David escapes to the Schitt family cabin for the weekend to spend his birthday popping a pill and crying himself to sleep after a Sandra and Julia marathon. He expects wine, crying, and getting mad at his family for inevitably forgetting his birthday. What he doesn't expect is meeting a disarmingly charming man camping up the road. Maybe it won't be such a bad birthday after all. There is some canon dialogue and some canon adjacent'ish things.
This fic is complete and is rated E for Eventual Explicit Exploits in later chapters. I hope you enjoyed that alliteration as much as I did. I'll be posting a chapter a day until it's done.
This fic was inspired by a photo of Noah Reid released a week or two ago from a film set. .

“Thank you for calling 94.1 CBC Radio, this is ‘What the Folk’, my name is Patrick and you’re on the air!” His voice sounds too loud in his headphones, and he hopes to God he’s not shouting. Shouting at his first ever on-air caller would be just his fucking luck.
“Hi, Patrick? Yes, who do I speak to about the fact that you’ve played six Lumineers songs in the last hour?”
*
Patrick is a late-night folk radio DJ, David is the owner of a car with a broken radio dial and opinions that need to be shared.
