Suga chokes. It’s hard to imagine anyone calling the scowling and fierce Doctor Iwaizumi “Iwa-chan.” But marriage probably comes with all sorts of liberties.
Mrs. Iwaizumi must be quite the doting wife, Suga thinks. Delivering hand-made bentos and sending along loving messages.
No one really knows much about the new surgical resident, Doctor Iwaizumi, other than the fact that he's married. Suga's determined to find out more, and make a friend of him in the process.

Matsukawa hums thoughtfully. “You know, I’m probably not the best person to give advice about relationships, but I’m sure your man’s going to be just fine. Scary-looking as you are, Iwaizumi, I get the feeling that you’re a pretty good husband.”
Iwaizumi isn’t sure what that’s supposed to mean, but it sounds like a compliment. “Um. Thanks?”
Matsukawa’s lips stretch into a thin, but not insincere smile. “You’re welcome. Look, you trust this guy of yours, right?”
The answer comes easily. “I trust him with my life.”
“See? There you go—”
But Iwaizumi isn’t done, and he continues, talking over Matsukawa. “Just not with his own.”
Doctor Iwaizumi Hajime's life has been going so well, it only makes sense that there'd be complications to follow. If only his husband would tell him what those complications are, he'd be able to fix things.

“The internet didn’t go through the painful torture of watching the dumbest mating ritual of the animal kingdom,” he grumbles. Tadashi’s chuckle tickles Kei’s neck, a huff of hot breath warming him to his core. If Kageyama and Hinata feel even half of this for each other —and he thinks they do— Kei owes them a nice fucking speech.
After all, he had witnessed their weird courtship from the front row. Who better than him to tell the world about just how much those two idiots were meant for each other?

Yesterday night, Matsukawa had told his parents that he was joining math club, which lead to several confused smiles from them as they tried to figure out his change of heart.
“Didn’t you say you were allergic to competitive math?” His mom had asked. “I mean, don’t get me wrong, we’re very supportive of your decision, but-”
Fortunately, or maybe unfortunately, they’d let it go because no sane parent prevents their child from joining math team, which is intellectually beneficial and looks very nice on college applications. This, in turn, prevents Matsukawa from having to explain that he’s joining- dear god- because of a crush.

Oikawa’s left eye squints, because anything Matsukawa says is pure shit. “He doesn’t exist.”
The only way for an unfamiliar face to become familiar is to let them live incessantly in your head — perhaps too much, enough to incarnate them to life.

Summary
It's springtime in Miyagi, and independently of each other several young volleyball players gather in a beautiful park filled with cherry trees to experience the time honoured tradition of hanami - cherry blossom viewing. They proceed to get in each other's way. It's too crowded in the park.
Makki and Mattsun are only trying to find evidence that Oikawa and Iwaizumi are in a relationship - Tsukki and Yamaguchi are trying to celebrate their anniversary, though can't seem to actually get any time alone. Daichi finds himself distracted from his date with Suga, trying to wrangle the Karasuno kids despite being off the clock - well it's not his fault Hinata and Kageyama are running around picking fights with Ushijima and Tendou, who in turn are only trying to enjoy each other's company. Neither is it his fault that Noya and Tanaka are menaces to everyone there and also Asahi, who's just trying to work on his portfolio application for design school.

Depressed and burnt out, and fresh off a massively successful debut gallery exhibition, Iwaizumi Hajime has entirely lost his passion for painting. Unable to pick up a brush - unable to to do anything, really, except stare at the canvas and try and will himself to have a good idea - Iwaizumi is fairly certain his art career is over before it's ever had a chance to begin.
That is, until a beautiful stranger moves in next door, and Iwaizumi's passion for the art is reignited in a blaze. However, admiring someone from afar is easy. His asocial personality, however, may make keeping his newfound muse in his life far more difficult.
