"That's what all malfunctioning miners do! Mess up the system in place!" the right said.
"Espeically this little screw up, Oreo Pox!" The left ranted.
"Orion Pax," the little bot behind him muttered, quietly correcting the shuttle, and causing Megatronus a spark attack.
Of course...Of course that paint job just couldn't have been a coincidence. Primus hated him, that was the only conclusion, and Megatronus couldn't even blame the god. Clearly this wasn't his cybertron, not even his cybertron's past, so of course there would be different versions of those he had befriended, and fought all those eons. His Orion Pax, was never a miner as these shuttles implied, but...if this was a second chance? Well, be it a punishment or blessing, Megatronus wasn't going to let these shuttles take this young version of his brother away again.

Summary
Setting: G1 cartoon-verse with a handful of IDW1 concepts (outliers, etc) and a HEAPING helping of my own headcanon.
Concept: The Quintessons bring their unruly toys back to heel during s3 and establish a breeding program to regrow the population decimated by the eons-long war.
IMPORTANT: I wrote this in 2017 and I have tried in vain for five years to finish it. I'm finally conceding defeat and letting myself work on the projects I actually want to work on. This fic has only the hurt written, although I'm including the outline for the comfort I intended to follow it with. I'm posting it because a few people told me they enjoy WIPs.
If anybody feels like stealing any of the concepts/characters/etc in this fic (apart from the idea of lead tank, used with permission from my best friend), you are more than welcome to without attribution or notification, although I'd love to see what you do with it.
