Summary
Once, New York was the land of dreams, with the occasional nightmare tainting its image.
Now all it is a nightmare.
Hiroto ruled with an iron fist. The streets rumble with the patrols of the Synjas, people who offended Hiroto, turned to a robotic army to keep others in line. Crime drapes over New York, painting asphalt in red. Gang wars. Shootouts. Random killing for the sake of it.
And over it all the Foot tower looms like an angry god.
There is no honor in New York.
No heroes. Especially not you. You keep your head low. You walk briskly. You never carry anything shiny, nothing that can be stolen. No. Dont help the man getting beat up, you'll die right along with him.
Those are just the rules. Never get involved with anything that can remotely hurt you.
Michelangelo Hamato just seems to have different plans.
