I spent the last year and a half reading every Re:Zero reaction fic I could find, and now here’s my own worldwide reaction. The world watches Re:Zero, Arcs 1–9.
Just know, I wrote this out of spite to prove I could. Writing is not fun, but it is relaxing.

Summary
When someone goes back in time everyone around them forgets everything that has ever happened past the point they return to. They lose all of their memories, returning to the people they once were. Takumi Sumino went back to fix everything, to save his best friend, and to save the world, but he failed to realize something important: memories don’t travel back with him, but bonds do. Bonds that are strong enough to transcend time itself.
(The story has a strong focus on Vehxtaku with slight focuses on Hirusumi and Takuzomi. It’s a story about friendship and the bonds between the Special Defense Unit, and the special bond that connects a certain Supreme Commander to a certain Team Leader.)

Things just seem to keep going bad for one reason or another, and after one more dramatic failure right at the finish, he is absolutely at the end of his rope.
So screw it, time to kick Sirei in the face and try it all again, one more time. Maybe this time, with all the wrong answers bouncing around in his head, he’ll manage to get it right.
