Having to redo that ordeal with Vergil around should mean it will be an easy trip, right? After all, there's nothing that could possibly challenge both Sons of Sparda at the same time!
Only, things are more complicated than they seem. Between his own hangups, a brother he sometimes barely knows and the underworld's sinister workings, Dante should maybe start wondering if he'll make it back home at all.

Which is, of course, Vergil’s fault. So now his brother’s stuck raising a kid he ‘claims’ he doesn’t want while simultaneously giving Dante hassle about a case he’s being forced to solve. And the angry teenager? Well he just continues to eat all his pizza and make a mess of his poor goddamn shop. But hey, family is never easy, right? And whoever said that Vergil wouldn’t make a great dad?

Dante ignored the way he felt his lungs wheeze as he laughed, waving Vergil off. “Please, the only thing that isn't fine is my diet. Do you have any idea how long its been since I’ve had a good slice of pizza? Two months Vergil!” Looking at the older, Dante could see the annoyance behind that stone cold expression. “I will be back.” Was all Vergil said before walking back out, presumably to hunt down a batch of demons to fry up later.

The demoness lunged at Dante, her hands coming to grab his head tightly and the red half-devil flinched as he felt her lips against his.
She kissed him hard and her tongue slithered inside his mouth, parting his teeth with surprising strength.
The hunter felt something cold and sleek pass from her body into his throat and he flinched.
He snapped his head back, breaking her hold and pushed her back with all his strength. The demoness crashed down and Dante scrambled away from her.
He gagged and coughed at the awful sensation of having been forced to swallow something strange.
Something ...alive.

Despite his rough and cold exterior, the 'eldest' son of The Dark Knight Sparda, a man with great demonic prowess, Vergil, was always different around you. He listened, accompanied you as you worked away as the resident gunsmith of Devil May Cry like some sort of benevolent shadow, and showed you a gentleness that many have never seen. It felt invigorating to be noticed by such a man, one who would break the world in half for you.
That wouldn't be a bad thing, right? Surely he wouldn't actually cause such chaos for you?
Is there truely such a steep price to pay when you tango with the son of Sparda?
