Summary
Stiles has just graduated from med school and is waiting to receive the location for his 3 to 5 years of practices when Scott calls him to ask him for help on a case of his secret specialty: werewolves. And no preparation could ever help him decipher this new case: a hot wolf with a fever who cannot turn, and who seems to only be able to snarl short answers and frown. Absolutely endearing, if you ask Stiles. And very hot in all possible meanings.
On the other side, Derek has been forced to run away from his pack and hide with the help of Scott, and now he's regretting all of these decisions while he tries to keep his heartbeat normal whenever doctor cold-fingers examines him. He'll die before letting anyone know that his hormones are the main cause of his fever, hormones he had never experienced like that before and for which he totally blamed the human guy.
And what is the surprise
when human Stiles goes on heat.

“He’s beautiful,” Derek muttered.
“What?” Jackson snorted derisively. “Derek,” he said, in his attempt at a flat tone that never quite sounded right. “He’s flailing. And lip-syncing.” The beta stared with judgmental eyes at Derek. The older werewolf pretended not to see, in favour of watching their new semi-neighbour. “Derek,” Jackson repeated. “He just did a single ladies move and fell. He’s on his ass on the floor and still singing.”
“I can see,” Derek grumbled.
“Clearly you can’t!” Jackson retorted. “You just called him beautiful.”
“You and Isaac moved the couch to creepily watch him through the window,” Derek countered. He decided to ignore the fact that he was settled on the couch next to them.
“I’m here to laugh at him,” Jackson said, sticking his nose up.
“I think he’s pretty,” Isaac chimed in helpfully.

He takes a job as a messenger for the Hales and meets the Argents, befriending a wolf on his walks. It's a month before the princes eighteenth birthday, where he will be taken to the castle and crowned king. (Dialect isn't perfect but it's not bad)
