Uzi’s newly gradient optics stared back her at the broken mirror in the back of her locker, some of the weight of what exactly she’d gone through settling onto her shoulders as she pulled off her headphones, her CPU a whirlwind of everything-
“You look great,” A highly synthesized voice spoke up as her tail slunk its way past her, glowing yellow eyes scrutinizing her. “Hmm.” With a quick dart out of the locker, her Tail commented “Have you considered a bow, though?” while dropping a bow on her head. Uzi’s only response was a quick slamming shut of her locker.

Eight dumbasses are given the power to utterly annihilate the status quo in the Shield Hero world and, in the words of that one John Brown meme:
"FACE THE JUDGEMENT OF THE LORD, SLAVER!"
Needless to say, the plotline derails very, very quickly.

Summary
Ben's had a lot of time to think. Though, if you'd ended up living all the way through a worldwide evolution involving the common man developing powers (Some Super, some not, all of them unique) and eventually found yourself outliving most of the folks you know and love, you'd take the time to contemplate things as well. Finding himself in Japan, he'd been mulling over a proposition sent to him when he'd heard a scuffle going on. He had no idea that intervening would change his life as drastically as it did, but he wouldn't change it for the world.
(Or: Ben Tennyson steps in during the first Slime Villain Encounter, and things go along from there.)

It had been ages since he'd last stepped foot in an animation studio... But now, a couple of months into his new job as a fresh new animator in Archgate Picture Studios, Samuel Magnihl was finding himself to be happy. Sure, the work was grueling, but he actually cared for his work. Not only that, but it was much better than his last job in the field...But it turns out, One can never truly escape from their demons.
