Funnily enough, Lin Ling only started wearing a fake wedding ring to shut his asshole boss up about the wonders of marriage, coming from a guy who had already been divorced three times, and to put an end to the teasing from his mean coworkers.
The habit stuck. It even spiraled into made up, overly sweet scenarios starring Moon as his fake, imaginary wife. Honestly, it helped fuel Lin Ling’s enthusiasm. He loved telling anyone bored enough to ask just how amazing she was.
He never thought Nice, the crazy hero he saved from jumping off the rooftop of his recently fired advertising building, would have a problem with it.
Or that Nice would develop a full-on beef with Lin Ling’s imaginary wife, seriously contemplating becoming a mistress because, obviously, Lin Ling deserved better than an absentee wife.
Either Lin Ling leaves her or there will be a body he will bury :)This Romcom got dark real quick with Nice's POV. But I'll ride it and make an attempt at squishing them together.

So, this was actually the first Dr. Stone fanfic I ever wrote, thinking it would get the hype out of my head and I'd move on to other fandoms. (You know, before writing a further almost 400k words XD) And I wanted to explore more of the "What ifs" and that ultimately led to the "Craving to Touch" series. This is NOT connected, it is completely separate continuity wise, but if you've read that, you'll see where concepts and ideas from this (and some of my other one shots) made it into that, so there may be some redundancy for readers of both.

Nice doesn't know what happens during an omega’s heat. Or anything about omegas, actually.
On the plus side, he treats omegas like anyone else, simply cataloging their secondary gender as peripheral information and not an indication of their capabilities. On the negative side, he's utterly clueless to the dangers omegas face in the world, which doesn't bode well for his hero partner.

Alternate universe with a male Marinette, Akumas have vastly worse effects on people, and Gabriel Agreste's treatment of his son takes a much darker turn.
LadyNoir centric fic where 90% of the focus is on their developing relationship and how they tackle the mounting pressure of their lives and the duty they've been chosen for. Lots of helping each other through their respective trauma and trying to cope with all new kinds of trauma being superheroes is going to bring them. Fic is planned to follow the loose structure of the show's entire plot with some heavy rewrites to accommodate higher stakes and a far darker tone.
