Summary
Jimmy Palmer is caught sneaking out of the home of an NCIS employee who was recently killed in a hit-and-run which has not yet been ruled accidental. Jimmy’s presence at the house is extremely suspicious, especially since he’s refusing to give a single word of explanation, even at the risk of losing his job. The team investigates, but can’t find an explanation that doesn’t make Jimmy look somehow involved in this mess.
When Jimmy is finally brought to Gibbs for interrogation, he’s absolutely terrified; after all, everyone knows that the special agent’s interrogation skills are legendary. But when he finds himself face to face with Gibbs, ready to steel himself against the barrage of tactics designed to slowly break him down, things don’t go at all the way he expects. Firstly because Gibbs has pretty much already figured things out (because of course he has), and secondly because of the very non-interrogation-like conversation that ensues, where they each learn a surprising thing or two about the other.

Summary
Peter has moved to Vancouver for a summer job at Stark Industries’ Canadian office. He’s been here a few weeks now, and is feeling a little unsettled. He’s having trouble getting into his routine as Spider-Man in a new city (and country), and hasn’t really felt like taking the time to get to know much about the city.
But a visit from Tony, followed by a long night of adventures, near-misses, and a few scary encounters around the city as the two of them work to clean up the non-dissolving webs that Peter accidentally left behind during his patrol, turns out to be just what he needs to lift his spirits.

He’s gotten used to the constant chest pain and the need to hide his situation from his schoolmates, and it seems like it will be mostly smooth sailing from now until he can have it removed in a few more months.
Until one day when it starts to malfunction during class and he needs to call Tony for help.

Peter turns back to his holo model but he can’t focus. How can he just sit here working beside his mentor as if nothing’s wrong, as if his mind isn’t about to explode from all the questions running through it, all the what ifs and what do I dos, too many questions to even keep track of? It’s enough to make him feel like screaming, or bursting. He doesn’t know how long he can keep it all inside.
As it turns out, not long at all.
Just as Tony lifts his coffee cup to his lips, Peter suddenly blurts out without thinking, “Do you really have to wait a week to take a pregnancy test?”
Tony chokes on his coffee.
