In my particular scenario, it comes with a pathetic sizzle and a whine.

A few weeks ago, if anyone suggested that instead of vivisecting a being from another world with unexplainable nullification powers, I'd end up working, dancing, and even enjoying her homemade pancakes with her, I'd slit their throat on the spot. And turn their vocal cords into a new lyre for Pantalone (that posh fat cat always had a thing for gruesome gifts).
Now, it appears that the only person requiring serious internal rearrangements is me.

So when Vox acts like it never happened, Velvette and Valentino realize he may need more help than he's letting on.

“Alright..” He mumbles, before pulling out his phone, and setting a timer for 30 minutes. He starts the timer. And then hits the ‘Start Update’ prompt for Vox’s system.
Finally. He's been waiting for this for so long.
He makes sure to position himself, to where the CCTV cameras cannot see the screen itself anymore, instead navigating to the aptly labeled VOX_CAMERA_FEED.EXE
And turning all of the cameras off. It would be too obvious it was him if it wasn't system wide.
He breathes a sigh of relief, before turning back to Vox’s limp body
His hands were going to undo the belt on his annoyingly tight pants before he even thought about it.
“I have half an hour with you. You cranky, stuck up bitch.” He spoke to Vox, even though Vox most definitely couldn't hear him.
