The rundown warehouse had clearly been outfitted into a lab. Once it was unlocked, he headed inside, feeling along the wall for a light switch. He found it and the room brightened, revealing an infirmary-type space. Movement caught his eye and he turned to see a privacy curtain swaying. He gripped his capture weapon and walked toward it.
Activating his quirk, he pulled it back, ready to defend himself, but what he saw made his heart drop. Cowering as far in a corner as they could get, shoving themselves between a bed and a shelf of medical supplies, was a child. A dirty, bloodied, emaciated, and terrified child.

Midoriya Izuku never went to UA. He wound up with the LOV at a young age and was found by accident after the Kamino Incident. Now Aizawa is helping him recover while trying to figure out who he is and how he got there despite Izuku's limited memories.

Shinsou had been making incredible progress. He didn’t say it aloud very often, but Shouta was proud of him. However, training the kid uncovered a few concerning things.
He was pretty sure Shinsou Hitoshi was being abused.
The more he got to know Shinsou, the more he interacted with him, the more certain he was that Shinsou was being abused. Most likely for his quirk. Someone that told him it was villainous.
So when Shinsou was late to training one day, he was worried.

_________________________________________Izuku stared at his bloodied hands in fear, his eyes blurring over with tears. This was supposed to be the end, this was supposed to be his brand new start, so why is he still stuck in this place!? Just a shitty, useless deku who can’t even die right.
And if this is death, then he can feel his regret piling up one brick at a time. This can’t be it. All he wanted is a fresh new start born with a good quirk, or even a weak quirk, or just any quirk, he’s not picky, or maybe even a world with no quirks at all, he doesn’t care where he’ll end up, just not back here!
He stares at his dead lifeless body, his eyes blurring with even more tears, mixing with the blood leaking from his head, as his mangled left hand and leg somehow functions as normal, no pain anywhere.
Well, at least as a ghost, his gruesome death won’t bother him anymore. Small blessings.

In all the popular movies and shows, they always portray someone dying as time itself slowing down. Slow motion, dramatic and tragic. Full to the brim with emotion, capturing every little detail.
Katsuki would tell you that’s bullshit. Death is not a moment you can savour, it is not a moment that drags on too long. When he stared death in the face, it did not stare back, it turned away and left. Gone in the blink of an eye. One moment, his childhood best friend turned bullying victim was alive, and the next? Gone. Just like that. There was no time to process it, no time to savour it. It was fast. There is no fairness in real death. There is no kindness. Maybe that’s even scarier, knowing that, in reality, a human life full of so much memory and emotion can be snuffed out so quickly, without any reason or rhyme.
Izuku Midoriya did not deserve his fate, but it was the one that met him regardless. There is no fairness in death. That was a lesson that Katsuki Bakugou learnt at age 14.Chapters 1-5: Pre-UA

"I'm so fucking sorry," Katsuki's voice was muffled from the wet fabric on Izuku's chest. "Don't you ever do something that fucking stupid again," Katsuki pulled back and looked into Izuku's eyes.
A swan dive from 5 stories was definitely enough to kill him. He had made sure of it.
It had killed him, right?
So why was he alive now?
"Izuku, I never wanted you to actually fucking kill yourself. I thought you fucking knew that. I knew I should have apologized as soon as I said it, but holy fucking shit Izuku, I didn't think you were actually going to do it." His voice was so quiet. Something so rare for the loud, angry blond sitting in front of Izuku.
Izuku blinked and rubbed at his own eyes, studying Katsuki. He had never, in his entire life, seen Katsuki so upset. The tears still hadn't stopped, his emotion was so raw and unrestrained. There was snot coming out of his nose, and spit clinging to his lips as he separated them to speak. His bloodshot eyes were met by trembling hands that attempted to wipe away the tears that refused to stop coming.

All Katsuki wants to do is apologize to De— to Izuku... But apologies without action are meaningless; so he volunteers at that local hero’s Villain Rehabilitation Program. It’s the perfect plan: he’ll do community service, get to see how a real hero acts, and learn to be better. He’s not here to make friends or anything.
Shouta has been on this case for 5 years, and every time he thinks they’ve successfully taken down the Villain Factory, it comes back with a vengeance. Now, with his Problem Child’s brilliant analyses and Amplifier’s brat nosing his way in with his helpful yet dubiously legal... connections... he’s actually starting to believe that he can take the Villain Factory down for good. All he has to do now is keep these meddling kids safe.
