She tried to smile back, but her smile soon became a grimace when the pain on her chest became unbearable.

I'm not good at summaries. Basically I needed another Thorin/OFC fic, so here were are. This is not the sweet, fluffy Thorin I’ve written previously.

Inspired by a prompt from a creative writing assignment, which immediately made me want to write a cute fic based on Cee writing to Ezra about a year and a half or so "After Launch" (or my first Prospect fic I uploaded to Aooo!).
Written from the perspective of my favorite Southern Gentleman: In which Ezra receives letters from his adopted space daughter while she's at school, and he contemplates how the course of his life has so unalterably changed, and most assuredly for the better.

Summary

Only this time it's a girl, not a child, with Jedi powers and a half-remembered past that forces the Mandalorian to deal with his most recent loss the only way he knows how: by avoiding it entirely, becoming overprotective, making bad decisions and involving himself in yet another sidequest with questionable results.
